Lindsay & Brandon | August 27, 2011 | Morrison, Colorado
From the bride:
We wanted our wedding to be traditional and simple, but elegant at the same time. We both love the mountains so we wanted a mountain setting. We found Willow Ridge Manor and loved it immediately for our ceremony and reception. It was the first place we looked at and booked it! It had the mountain feel, but was also conveniently close to the city, so travel was easy for our family and friends.

I love the color purple so I wanted to incorporate all different shades of the color into every detail of my wedding. My family and I created all my flowers, centerpieces, boutonnieres and corsages. They turned out so beautiful and just how I imagined. Fifteen minutes before our wedding, the wind started blowing and it started to rain. Our wedding was outside so it wasn’t the best situation, but we just went for it. I walked down the aisle with the wind blowing and the rain falling. As soon as the ceremony started I immediately forgot about the weather and just enjoyed the moment. During the ceremony, Brandon was so nervous that after he was done with his portion of the vows he started stating mine. “I Lindsay take you Brandon.” It definitely made me and everyone at the wedding laugh. My advice to other couples is to not let the weather stress you out, because in the end it will all turn out beautiful and great.RECOMMENDED VENDORS
