Mountains, Horses & Wildflowers
Kindra & Luke | May 4th | Walsenburg, Colorado
From the bride, Kindra:
Our entire wedding was DIY. We held our afternoon ceremony on a private piece of land in the high mountains of the Huerfano Valley. We wrote the ceremony ourselves from start to finish, so the entire day was tailor made for us.
Our ceremony was small and informal, which included just myself, the groom and our son, Blake. The ceremony was in such a beautiful setting and very extremely touching. Each word and action had significant meaning to us.
After the ceremony, the three of us rode off on our horses.
My advice: Focus on the things that are most important to you, then let go of all the small things that don’t work out “perfectly.” The important things can leave great memories, and there’s no reason to let small things ruin your big day.
