Allie & Ben | October 6th | MILE HIGH STATION
From the bride, Allie:
I enjoyed the whole day so much. I loved my dress and will never forget when my dad put my hand in Ben’s and said nice dress! I switched sashes between the ceremony and the reception, from simple to bling.
We had a traditional Catholic wedding ceremony at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church. The church was beautifully decorated with live aspen trees behind the alter and lit candle hurricanes lining the aisle on to the front of the church.
The reception was at Mile High Station. We loved the rustic, industrial feel of the exposed brick and iron finishes. We didn’t want to take away from the natural beauty of the space, but added hundreds of LED candles and varying heights of white flowered centerpieces.
My advice: Get as much done as you can early on! I wish we would have worked on more during 7 months out rather than waiting until 3-4 months out! Also, I would remind everyone to have fun during the planning, my husband and I learned a lot from each other (like how details didn’t matter that much to him and I should just make the decision!) and it was a really special time in our lives.
