Wed at The Stanley Hotel

Sara &  Joe | September 24th | Estes Park, Colorado

From the bride:
Our dream wedding was to be married in the mountains so, The Stanley Hotel {Rockstar Venue} was an absolute ideal location. We were wed on the plaza of the hotel on a beautiful 75 degree sunny day.  Between the Stanley Hotel and the breathtaking view of the Rockies, it was the perfect location to say “I DO!”

The most memorable moment was when my mom handed me my bouquet of flowers and wrapped around the handle was a handkerchief printed with a poem about my late grandmother. She was my best friend and I miss her dearly. My mom had also included small pictures of my grandparents. I cried with tears of happiness. They both were there in spirit. To honor my husband’s side of the family, I also carried a handkerchief that belonged to Joe’s grandmother.

Our son was the ring bearer and our daughter was our flower girl.I’ll never forget the look on Joe’s face as my father and I made our way down the aisle!Music is a big part of our lives so we incorporated some of our favorite songs into the ceremony. We played Jack Johnson songs for the wedding party processional and played “Marry Me” by Train for my walk down the aisle. The outside lawn was just so beautiful and the view of the Rocky Mountains was breathtaking.

The ageless, classic beauty of The Stanley Hotel was our inspiration for our wedding style.  We wanted classy with a black and white damask print and added a touch of aqua for a modern twist. The Music Room at The Stanley was a perfect place to have dinner and celebrate with our family and friends. The food was delicious!
