Allison & Matt | June 6th | Salida, Colorado
From the bride: We love our life in the mountains and wanted to portray that in our wedding day. We kept the guest list small, which was more enjoyable and personal.
We were married in an open field with the mountains as our backdrop.
My sister hung chalk boards around the reception with quotes we had recited at the ceremony.
For the decor, we had large farm tables, burlap runners, flowers in mason jars and large hanging lanterns.
Someone told me, every once in a while step back and take in what was happening. Whenever I did this, I saw our family and friends laughing, smiling and having a great time which really filled my heart with joy.
At dusk, we lit a bonfire.
My advice: No one will know if things don’t go as planned, so don’t sweat it.
