Relaxed in Broomfield
From the photographer, Rayna McGinnis Photography:
Victoria and Tylor’s wedding is an amazing example of what can be accomplished in as little as three months. These two were originally planning an October 2014 wedding but when Tylor was informed at the end of 2013 that he was being stationed in Japan that coming May, he and Victoria went into wedding planning overdrive. Victoria didn’t miss a beat and pulled everything together and on the wedding day, she was one of the calmest and happiest brides I’ve had the honor to photograph.
From the bride: Our wedding day was so relaxed. We weren’t stressed at all. Everything had come together so wonderfully that we were able to enjoy the day in its entirety and truly appreciate what we were there for.
We set aside four chairs for my grandparents whom have all passed away. We placed reserved signs with each of their names and a single rose was placed on each chair to show that they were to have been in those seats.. To me that was the best way to honor four people who couldn’t be there to celebrate our wedding day, but were very much so missed.
Tylor is active military and he arranged a saber team from Bucky Air Force base to greet us as we walked back down the aisle as husband and wife.
Both our families are of Norwegian decent so at the dessert table we had a Norwegian wedding cake made of cookie rings. It was a node to my Grandmother who also had one made for my parents wedding in 1982.
