Breanna & Jack | June 22nd | Twin Owls Steakhouse
From the bride, Breanna:
The day of the wedding is a blissful blur, to say the least. The day flew by and before I knew it Jack and I were driving off in our final farewell for the first time as husband and wife. We had family and friends arriving almost two weeks before the wedding shenanigans so every day was pretty hectic up until the wedding. The wedding day was so quiet and peaceful. The weather was gorgeous, everyone was calm and experienced no pre-ceremony mishaps (except my dress zipper broke and I was literally sewed into it!). The venue we choose was amazing and the weather was picturesque. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to start our journey together.
Our ceremony was picturesque. I didn’t walk down the aisle to any music. Last minute I realized I hadn’t chosen a song to walk to (crazy I know) so I let nature choose my music for me. It was completely peaceful and quiet and wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Many of our guests approached me after the ceremony and commented about how wonderful they thought it was that I didn’t walk down to any music because you could hear the rain in the distance over the mountains, the wind in the trees, and the birds singing to each other. It was truly calming and beautiful. Instead of table numbers we used different beer growlers from breweries all around the state. My advice: Take your time. Once you get engaged everyone you know has an opinion. Be true to yourself and what you want. Take deep breaths and enjoy the ride!!
