Evergreen in Yellow & Grey

Melissa & Allan  |  June 2, 2011  |  Evergreen, Colorado

Our wedding was very DIY. We wanted our day to be relaxed and comfortable for all our guests.

Photography by Verve Studio

Just before the ceremony, A crazy wind kicked up and blew half the chairs into the lake. Our wedding guests helped fished them out of the water. In spite of the wind, our ceremony was absolutely lovely.Memorable Moment: Allan gave my daughter a promise ring during the ceremony. We had so much fun making the colorful photo booth wall that everyone enjoyed!

Boulder Bliss

From the bride, Natalie:
Our ceremony was located on the lawn of the Millennium Harvest House in downtown Boulder next to the popular creek path. It was the perfect Summer day with puffy white clouds dancing across a bright blue Colorado sky. We stood under a beautiful birch wood log floral arch designed by Alan Perry Designs. It was important to me to incorporate all the traditional wedding elements, but I also wanted everything to move along quickly, so we could get to the fun part – the dancing!
